Start with the sponsor’s residence
The sponsor’s own residence category and issuing authority determine the starting requirements. A company shareholding is useful evidence, but does not by itself prove that every family sponsorship condition is met. Check the actual residence file first.
Prepare the company evidence
Depending on the route, the authority may request the trade licence, memorandum, shareholding information and other financial or accommodation evidence. Use current documents that match the sponsor’s details. Clarify which records are needed before paying for extra certifications.
Organise the family documents
Spouses and children need identity records and suitable proof of relationship. Marriage and birth certificates may need attestation and translation. Check spelling across all documents, particularly if different transliterations of a name appear in company and passport records.
Compare the application sequence
An applicant already in the UAE can have additional immigration transactions compared with someone applying from abroad. Renewal is another separate path. Request a quote that reflects the sponsor category, each dependant’s age and location, rather than using an employee example.
