Select the employment transaction
New employee residence, renewals, existing-resident work permits, part-time permits and cancellations are different services. A person holding family or Golden residence may still need a work permit for employment. Identify the company’s jurisdiction and the employee’s current status first.
Check the company file
An active trade licence, establishment records and authorised signatory information may be needed before an employee transaction can proceed. Mainland and free-zone processes differ. Confirm whether the employer’s records or classification introduce additional requirements before calculating the individual visa.
Sequence labour and residence steps
The correct order can involve employment documentation, work-permit processing, immigration, medical fitness and Emirates ID. Existing employment or a residence cancellation can change the path. Keep employment and immigration deadlines visible rather than treating the application as one isolated payment.
Budget for the complete transaction
The estimator shows planning figures for the selected employment service and fee category. Insurance, orientation, immigration steps and application assistance may be separate items. For several hires, request a written scope covering each employee, exceptions and responsibilities for follow-up.

Common questions.
Can a family-visa holder work without a permit?
A residence arrangement does not automatically authorise employment. The correct work permit must be checked.
Are free-zone fees the same as mainland fees?
Not necessarily. The authority, package and company requirements affect the process and price.
Does a visa cancellation also finish every employment obligation?
No. Labour records, final settlement and immigration steps should be reviewed as separate responsibilities.
