Correct details from the first entry.
Organise accurate documents and application information before your Emirates ID request is submitted.

Typing is an application step
Application typing means preparing the information required by the authority’s form. It is not an approval, biometric appointment or residence permit. A complete application still follows the authority’s review, verification and issue process.
Share clear, matching documents
Provide legible passport and residence records with every important field visible. A recent photograph should meet the current identity-photo specification. Missing corners, unclear numbers or inconsistent name spellings can require another round of documents before filing.
Review the draft information
Check names, passport number, date of birth, nationality, contact details and delivery address before authorising submission. Corrections after submission may need additional requests or charges. Tell the person preparing the application about a replaced passport or previous identity record.
Keep your reference and next steps
After filing, retain the application number and receipt. Follow any request for biometrics or supporting documents. Official processing charges and the provider’s typing or assistance fee should be separated in the quote, with no assumption that every later transaction is included.

Common questions.
Can typing be completed remotely?
Documents can often be reviewed remotely, but required identity checks or biometrics may still involve attendance.
Should I approve the entered details?
Yes. Review key identity and contact fields before the application is submitted.
Is biometric enrolment included in typing?
No. Typing prepares the application. Biometric attendance is a separate authority requirement when requested.
