Check your subscription first
The UAE unemployment insurance scheme has eligibility conditions, subscription categories and claim rules. Confirm that your policy is active, the correct category is recorded and premiums have been paid. An estimate of a benefit does not confirm that a claim will be accepted.
Estimate the benefit from basic salary
The calculator uses an indicative sixty per cent of average basic salary, subject to the category’s monthly cap and a maximum three-month payment period. Enter basic pay rather than the total package. Salary shortcuts help compare examples without altering your actual policy.
Prepare a status enquiry
The status-request form collects an Emirates ID number and date of birth, then lets you review the message. It prepares a WhatsApp enquiry; it does not retrieve a live insurance record. You decide whether to send the details after reviewing them.
Check claim conditions and deadlines
Subscription history, the reason employment ended and timely submission matter. Resignation and dismissal circumstances may be treated differently. Read the insurer’s current claim instructions, retain employment records and request clarification immediately if you are unsure about the submission window.
