Clear copies prevent avoidable delays.
Check passport scans, identity photographs and supporting files before sending them for review.

Capture the complete passport spread
Provide a clear copy of the identity page and any opposite page requested by the application. Keep all corners visible, avoid glare and make sure text and numbers can be read. Do not crop away machine-readable lines or alter the original document image.
Use a compliant recent photograph
Identity applications can reject portraits with unsuitable backgrounds, shadows, filters or heavy retouching. Use the current photograph specification for the actual authority and service. The face must be clearly visible; a social profile picture is not a reliable substitute.
Include the supporting pages
Certificates, visas and corporate documents may contain stamps or references on more than one page. Send complete records in the correct order, including relevant reverse sides. A passport cover or additional passport pages should be included only where the chosen application requires them.
Check consistency before sharing
Compare names, dates and passport numbers across the documents. Explain any legitimate difference, such as a name change or renewed passport, instead of editing a scan to make it match. Share only the documents needed for the intended service and review the recipient before sending.

Common questions.
Can I edit a scan to correct a spelling?
No. Correct the source record through its issuer or provide supporting evidence for the difference.
Is a phone photograph acceptable?
It can be, if it is sharp, complete and meets the application’s file requirements.
Should I send every personal document I have?
No. Share only what is necessary for the chosen service after confirming the checklist.
